Room Makeover

This project took over the studio this summer.

We're almost done. Our heart were pounding we spotted this dress form at a garage sale...gasp $2 !!

Embroidery hoops work perfect for the dots she wanted on the wall. Today, a trip to IKEA for funky mirrors and Dani's teenager room is complete.

Bracelet Recipe

I so enjoy the process of jewelry making. Mixing colors, shapes, textures

much like cooking up a pot of homemade soup.

A pinch of this & dash of that...

mixing until I find the perfect combination.

Even I don't know how it will turn out.

But it's always perfect, yum!!

I Did Promise...

Years ago I said to my daughter,"When you turn thirteen, we'll redo your room and turn it into a fun teenager room."

So two things happened , she remembered this promise and she actually grew up!

Wow, how did that happen?

So... much of my "art time" is spent helping my

almost teen with designing her new room.

This involves fun bright paints, cool fabrics,

IKEA, craft store trips and

really cool garage sale finds.

We've got a good start and are having great fun!
